On November 21 and 22, 2026, the PalaisPopulaire invites you to a special weekend filled with art, music, talks, and encounters. You can look forward to engaging panel discussions, poetry, live music, and art tours, as well as a creative program for children and families. Additional program highlights, developed together with our longtime companions and partners, invite you to discover more. In addition to the diverse program, a special sale of selected editions and catalogs awaits you—a unique opportunity to explore, browse, and take something home.
With MerciPalais, we’d like to say thank you for the past years and the many moments we’ve shared. On Saturday evening, we’ll celebrate together with Berlin and warmly invite all visitors to share this special occasion with us.

In cooperation with Monopol magazine, there will be talks on the cultural landscape in Germany and its institutions. The House of Poetry will build a bridge to the current exhibition Moving Clouds by Slovak artist Lucia Tallová. We’ll round out the evening with live music and a DJ set.

Take me home: Sale of selected works from the Deutsche Bank Collection
On the weekend of November 21-22, 2026, around 120 selected works from the Deutsche Bank Collection will be sold as part of MerciPalais in support of the Berlin-based nonprofit organization Be an Angel e.V.
Most of the works on sale are prints, photographs, and editions, including important pieces of contemporary German art. The majority of the works are offered at prices between 50 Euros and 400 Euros. A few pieces cost more than 1,000 Euros.
Take advantage of this special opportunity and secure a time-slot ticket for Saturday, November 21, 2026, at 10 am or 11 am, or Sunday, November 22, 2026, at 12 pm or 2 pm, which entitles you to purchase a work of art from the Deutsche Bank Collection.

Guided Tour with Drag Queen Cali Harburg
This tour through the exhibition Moving Clouds will be really special: Together with Drag Queen Cali Harburg (sofa queen, intellectual, philosopher, and migrant), this guided tour from a queer perspective reveals the background, concepts, and highlights of the artist Lucia Tallová.

Live-Music: Jazz-Event-Trio
The acoustic trio led by saxophonist Roman Polatzky creates a completely unique sound world with the help of the bandleader's lyrical and quirky compositions. They also play many well-known covers and will get us into a great party mood that evening.

Sound Poetry Performance: lullaby’s last technobeat
In collaboration with the Haus für Poesie, the poet Zuzana Husárová (born 1983 in Malacky, Slovakia) performs her sound poetry piece "lullaby’s last technobeat" as part of Lucia Tallová’s exhibition Moving Clouds. Husárová is a professor of Digital Art at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava and an author of experimental transmedia poetry.

On Sunday, the program is all about the family. Workshops for all ages, including those offered by the Berlin Philharmonic’s education program, invite you to become creative. Through various guided tour formats, visitors can explore both the current exhibition and the Prinzessinnenpalais. To close out the weekend, we’ll swing out with Emily Insightful.

Free exhibition tour with members of the Berliner Philharmoniker for families with children aged 6 and up.
What sounds can be heard in the exhibition? In the works of Lucia Tallová – awarded "Artist of the Year" by Deutsche Bank – many themes are central: for example, ecology, feminism, as well as loss. She connects past with present and uses different materials in her art to convey this. Can you perceive the sounds of the wood, the photographs, and the clouds? What do you perceive?
The Berliner Philharmoniker and PalaisPopulaire invite children from grades 1 to 3 to embark together on a creative sound journey. Starting from individual artworks, we will go on a musical exhibition expedition. Thus, the visit to PalaisPopulaire becomes a first small concert experience, which invites participation, but also listening and watching.

Slow Art slows down! We dedicate more time to one artwork from the exhibition Moving Clouds and, undisturbed, delve into the background of the works. Led by art historian Sarah Steiner, we will discover more about the artist Lucia Tallová.
