Conditions of participation
Advent calendar competition of the PalaisPopulaire

The PalaisPopulaire of Deutsche Bank AG (Unter den Linden 5, 10117 Berlin) is organizing a competition on Instagram. The competition is in no way connected to Instagram and is in no way sponsored, supported or organized by Instagram. The sole contact for questions about the advent calendar competition is the above organizer. By participating in the competition, participants accept these following conditions of participation.

§1 Eligibility for participation

  1. Every member of Instagram is entitled to participate in the competition who
    •   is 18 years old at the time of participation as a subscriber to the Instagram account
    • is at least 18 years old at the time of participation
    • likes the Instagram post of the current competition
    • answers the PalaisPopulaire competition questions correctly
  2. Employees of the PalaisPopulaire and their relatives are excluded from participation in the competition
  3. Each participant can take part in the competition in their own name only. Participation is possible only once per person.

§2 Competition period and procedure

The competition period starts on November 30th, 2025 and ends on December 22, 2025. The competition is divided into four separate competition days and takes place on the following days: November 30, December 7, 14, 21, 2025. Each competition day ends on the following Monday at 11:59 pm. For each competition, one winner will be selected at random after expiry of the deadline and following the verification of the conditions of participation.

The competition consists of a total of four independent competition questions that must be posed in an Instagram post by PalaisPopulaire and answered by the participants. In addition, participants in the competition must have subscribed to the PalaisPopulaire Instagram profile and have liked the post of the respective competition.

§3 Participation

  1. To participate, an eligible participant must correctly answer the competition question in the PalaisPopulaire Instagram post within the respective moment of publication until the following Monday at 11:59 pm, like the post and have subscribed to the PalaisPopulaire profile.
  2. Participation via different accounts is not permitted.
  3. Participation on all four competition days is possible.
  4. The organizer reserves the right to exclude participants from the competition for important reasons, in particular in the event of a breach of the conditions of participation or the insult of other participants.

§4 Prizes

  1. One winner will be chosen within the day following one of the four competition days, one winner will be chosen. The winners will be drawn at random from among the participants who have answered the question correctly, liked the competition post and follow the PalaisPopulaire Instagram profile. A total of four winners will be determined during the competition campaign period.
  2. The following prizes will be drawn on the respective competition days
    • November 30, 2025: 1x exhibition catalog signed by the artist for Charmaine Poh: Make a travel deep of your inside, and don’t forget me to take
    • December 7, 2025: 2x6 free tickets for the AfterWork event on January 22, 2026 at PalaisPopulaire
    • December 14, 2025: 1x book signed by author Dorothee Elmiger, "Die Holländerinnen"
    • December 21, 2025: 1x signed edition Charmaine Poh
  3. The prizes cannot be changed, exchanged or paid out in cash
  4. The Deutsche Bank assumes the tax obligation for the non-cash benefits as a lump sum in accordance with §37b with a compensatory effect for the winners.

§5 Winner announcement and time-bound prize acceptance

  1. After each draw, the winners of the respective competition will be contacted via direct message on Instagram. The winners will be notified without guarantee.
  2. Within 48 hours after PalaisPopulaire has sent the prize notification, the winners must send an e-mail to palais.populaire@db.com with their name and postal address. The prize will be sent to this address.
  3. Prizes that are not claimed in this way will be forfeited.

§6 Data protection

  1. We store the data collected for participation in the competition for the purpose of carrying out and processing the competition. Data will only be passed on to third parties in the event of a win in order to process the prize. Further information on how PalaisPopulaire processes data can be found in the data protection information on the PalaisPopulaire website Datenschutz – PalaisPopulaire (db.com)
  2. Insofar as Instagram functions are used as part of the competition (e.g. direct message), the data will be used in accordance with the Instagram Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.

§8 Miscellaneous

  1. Legal recourse is excluded.
  2. Participants acknowledge that technical problems may occur during the competition which may affect the competition itself and which are not the responsibility of the organizer.
  3. All provisions are subject to the law of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods and the conflict of laws. The place of fulfillment is Berlin.
