OnView – Power

OnView is a curated film series by PalaisPopulaire: Each spring and fall, the institution showcases films by international artists centered around a specific theme over a period of up to eight weeks. The third edition, titled Power, brings together works by Karimah Ashadu, Korpys/Löffler, Erkan Özgen, and Ulay / Marina Abramović amongst others. As in previous editions, OnView – Power features works that explore the many meanings and interpretations of the term. Set within social and political contexts, the films engage with ideas of power, strength, and control—as well as their opposites. Power has many facets!
