SculpturePopulaire: Tour of sculptures in public space around the PalaisPopulaire
With the four-meter-high artwork "Tor (Skins)" by Erwin Wurm, the 5th outdoor sculpture is shown in front of the PalaisPopulaire. A one-hour tour of the neighborhood introduces the humorous work of the Austrian sculptor and conceptual artist as well as important historical monuments around Bebelplatz.

Open House: The Struggle of Memory – Deutsche Bank Collection, Part 2
On the occasion of the opening of the second part of The Struggle of Memory we cordially invite you to the Open House. Musically, DJ Nomi, one of the most versatile DJs of the Berlin club scene, will accompany the evening. Her music style ranges from Hip Hop, R&B, Funk, Soul, House, Dancehall to Afrobeats.
The PalaisPopulaire, including the exhibitions and LePopulaire, will be open until 10 pm.

On the occasion of the "Artist of the Year" La Chola Poblete, participants will talk about the background, themes, and content of the artworks after a detailes description of the pictures. The tour will be led by art mediator Dr. Elisabeth Klotz.

curated and moderated by Oliver Hardt, author and filmmaker, Frankfurt am MainOn the occasion of the exhibition The Struggle of Memory - Deutsche Bank Collection, the PalaisPopulaire presents the film series History is not the Past, curated by author and filmmaker Oliver Hardt. The focus is on films by artists and filmmakers from Africa and the African diaspora, who deal with questions of memory, loss and restitution in a variety of ways. In five screenings, History is not the Past presents a total of thirteen short and feature-length films from nine countries, including Senegal, Nigeria, Haiti, Brazil, Germany, and France. The screenings will be accompanied by discussions with authors, artists and filmmakers. Guests include Karimah Ashadu, Dr. Mahret Ifeoma Kupka, Prof. Dr. Bénédicte Savoy, Diara Sow and Eric Otieno Sumba.
